A Fixed Weekly Fee from Age 75
Our current weekly fee is $169. For residents who are 75 and over, and their partners, this fee is fixed for life. It won’t go up with inflation. It won’t go up at all.
That one fee covers a lot: regional and district rates, water rates, insurance for your villa, and all the maintenance of the exterior, gardens, lawns, and the wider grounds. No surprise bills for painting or roofing repairs. No worrying about the lawns. You pay your weekly fee and everything outside your front door is looked after.
Lower Power Bills Through Bulk Buying
We buy electricity in bulk for the whole village and pass those savings straight on to residents. Many people who move here tell us their power bills dropped noticeably compared with their previous home.
Grow Your Own and Keep the Grocery Bill Down
Every villa comes with its own private garden space, perfect for pottering away at whatever pace suits you. On top of that we have two large fruit orchards and a communal vegetable garden that residents genuinely love. There’s nothing quite like picking fresh lemons, feijoas or a handful of herbs for dinner, and it all helps the shopping bill too!
No Hidden Costs When You Leave
When the time eventually comes to move on, there are no refurbishment costs unless there is damage beyond normal wear and tear. The Deferred Management Fee, which is fully explained in your Occupation Right Agreement, simply covers the services you enjoyed during your time here.
