What are your weekly fees and how do they work?
Your weekly fee covers exterior maintenance, lawns and gardens, rates, building insurance, and access to village amenities.
Once you reach age 75 (and for couples once both are 75), your weekly fee is fixed for life. This gives you certainty and protection from rising costs later on.
What age do I need to be to move to Longridge?
Longridge is designed for people aged 65 and over who want independent retirement living in a spacious, community-focused environment.
Do I need to book an appointment to visit?
We recommend booking an appointment so we can give you a personalised tour and answer your questions properly. However, you’re welcome to call us and arrange a time that suits you.
How does the deferred management fee work?
Like most retirement villages in New Zealand, Longridge operates under an Occupational Right Agreement (ORA). A deferred management fee applies when you leave, rather than ongoing increases while you live here. We are happy to explain this clearly during your visit.
Can I bring my pet?
Of course. This is your home.
We know pets are family, and many of our residents have dogs or cats. Pets are welcome, subject to simple approval to ensure they’re suited to village living.
