Can I Bring My Pet, My Plants, My Tools, and My Campervan? Life Your Way at Longridge Country Estate

Residents in their campervan at Longridge Country Estate Paeroa, enjoying the freedom to travel and live life their way

One of the first things people ask when they visit Longridge is:

ā€œCan I bring my…?ā€And we love that question.

Because at Longridge Country Estate, the answer is usually yes.

We’re a yes village.

Can I bring my pet?

Yes. Up to two, as long as they’re well-behaved and approved by management. This is your home, and that includes your four-legged family.

Can I bring my love of gardening?

Yes. Every villa at Longridge Country Estate has a private garden and patio. Many residents grow veges, herbs, or just enjoy having their own patch. You’re welcome to get your hands dirty or not.

We also have two huge communal orchards filled with fruit trees, plus garden beds and shared vege patches.

You can be as involved as you like, and there’s always plenty to harvest.

Between the private gardens and the shared spaces, Longridge is close to self-sufficient when it comes to growing food. Read more.

Can I bring my campervan?

Yes. We have parking for those too. Longridge isn’t hemmed in by gates or underground garages. There’s space to live how you like and to take off when you feel like it. Your villa and garden are exactly as you left them when you return or better. That’s the benefit of living somewhere lock-up and leave where everything is looked after.

What about my boat? My tools? My friends?

Yes. Yes. Yes. Bring what matters. Our villas include internal garages, many with double setups, and we’re designing with flexibility in mind, including wider hallways, practical storage, and garages pre-wired for e-bikes and EVs.

Plenty of residents use their garages as workshops too, especially those with a double, and there’s a Men’z Shed just down the road if you want more space or company.

As for friends and family, of course they can visit. This is your home, not a facility. You can host, have people to stay, and carry on life as usual, just with more space and support.

At Longridge, you’ll find a lot of things that are a no elsewhere are a yes here. And that’s not by accident.

Set across 90 acres, our village is built with room to move and freedom to keep being you.

And what makes it even better is that residents have a real say in how life at Longridge runs. The clubs, outings, and get-togethers are organised by residents themselves, we just support them with the spaces and resources to do it.
